State BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar today demanded the state government to come to the rescue of the families of the farmers, who have lost their lives after being struck by lightning in the state.
In a statement , he expressed his condolences to all the family members of the victims. In his statement, he also demanded the state government to also help the farmers who have been injured in the lightning attacks. He alleged that the state government did not take any action on the issue so far despite the fact that they raised the issue several times in the past. He said that the state government should extend financial assistance to the victims in the same manner as the centre government, which is extending financial assistance to the family members of the lightning struck victims.
He demanded the state government to provide minimum support price to the food grains that have been drenched due to the recent untimely rains.
