Former YSRCP leader MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi arrested

YSRCP  leader Gannavaram former  MLA Vallabhane Vamsi was arrested by police. Cases were registered under BNS section 140(1), 308, 351(3), red with 3 (5). SC and ST atrocity case was also filed.

AP Police arrested Vamsi in an apartment in Rayadurgam, Hyderabad and posted notices at his house while moving him to Vijayawada. AP Police took the help of Raydurgam Police in arresting Vamsi.

Meanwhile, Gannavaram former MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi went into the unknown for the last 7 months without being caught by the police. The police investigating for him finally arrested him in Hyderabad.

They are moving from Hyderabad to Vijayawada. During YSRCP rule, Vamsi was accused in the case of attack on TDP office in Gannavaram. But instead of being arrested in this case, he was granted anticipatory bail from the court.

The TDP leaders registered cases against Vamsi for making inappropriate comments against the current Chief Minister and TDP President Nara Chandrababu Naidu. However, they went into hiding after the coalition government came to power.

In this context, the police are hunting extensively for Vamsi. Finally he was arrested in Hyderabad and is being shifted to Vijayawada.
