Tamil Nadu Law Minister CV Shanmugam made a sensational statement on the death of former Chief Minister J. Jayalalitha. He said that Jayalalitha was killed by offering Halwa. Everyone was shocked when he made this allegation during Anna DMK booth-level agents meeting on Wednesday. This sensational comment by the minister has given another twist to Jayalalitha’s death.
He also alleged that when he went to Apollo Hospitals to see Jayalalitha, he was not allowed by Sasikala. Substantiating his claim, Minister Shanmugam said that Jayalalitha was offered Halwa knowing pretty well that she is diabetic and a plan was hatched to die naturally by giving sweet Halwa.
He asked if she died of cardiac arrest, why there were blood stains in hospital veranda and when she was recovering, how can she get heart-attack. He opined that, the truth will come out if Sasikala is properly interrogated.
