Engineering Staff College of India Autonomous Organ of The Institution of Engineers (India) School of Post Graduate Studies

SPGS, ESCI organized Orientation programme today for the PGDM batch of 2023-25. The programme was inaugurated by the Director, ESCI Dr G Rameshwar Rao. In his address he explained about the four pillars of ESCI namely training, research, consultancy and SPGS. Further he also reminded about the vision and mission of ESCI to the participants i.e., providing quality training and education to engineering and techno-management domains. He urged the students to make use of experienced faculty available with ESCI and excel.

Dr A Jagan Mohan Reddy, Principal SPGS wail welcoming the students advised them to improve their knowledge, skills and mindset during their stay at SPGS, ESCI. Further while apprising about the challenges that lie ahead, he appealed them to develop creative and critical thinking.

Dr M A Rasheed, VP of Organic Group of Companies in his address asked the students to focus on the Parivarthan i.e. setting the goals, working on leadership skills and preparing the skills required for the 21st century. He also shared 3 C’s of life with the students namely choice about skill/job, challenges to be faced and changing the life according.

Shri K J A Swarup, GM (Retd.), ITC in his address shared with them about the competencies they need to develop while pursuing their course at SPGS,ESCI. In the end he ask them to focus on three things to get placed after completion of course i.e. domain knowledge, inter-personal skills and charcter.

Shri S Laxmikantha Rao, Chief A&P he was also present promised all the support in terms of felicities and asked the students to give their best.

Dr M Sindu, the student faculty coordinator who coordinated, with the help of senior colleagues Shri K N Rao & Mrs Chaya Padma, urged the students to attended the classes regularly and make use of the fecilities.
