Edovu Ventures to Launch 120 EduGlobal Junior Preschools Offering IB Primary Years Programme Across India

In a move aimed at transforming early childhood education in India, Edovu Ventures has announced plans to launch 120 standalone preschools under its EduGlobal Junior brand that will offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP) framework. The announcement was made following an agreement signed at the IB Global Centre in Singapore.

The new EduGlobal Junior preschools will offer the Primary Years Programme (PYP), a well-established educational framework designed for children aged 3 to 12. The PYP emphasizes inquiry-led learning and a transdisciplinary approach that supports academic, social, and emotional development, placing students at the center of the learning experience.

The PYP is one of four programmes offered by the IB, with its curriculum framework implemented in over 5,900 schools across more than 160 countries. Recognized globally for its rigorous standards and international outlook, the IB is committed to developing inquisitive, knowledgeable, and caring young people who are prepared to thrive in a complex, interconnected world.

Speaking on the occasion, Stefanie Leong, Head of Development, Asia Pacific, said: “At the IB, we are always encouraged to see growing interest in our programmes, particularly in early years education. We welcome efforts by education providers like Edovu Ventures to implement the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), which offers a holistic, inquiry-based approach to learning. As more schools in India explore the PYP framework, we look forward to supporting high-quality, internationally-minded education across diverse communities. ”

PK Samal, Founder and Group Managing Director of Edovu Ventures, remarked: “Edovu Ventures is the fastest-growing education consortium in India, and our core belief aligns perfectly with the IB’s values. We are both committed to transforming education through innovation, integrity, and a global outlook. This partnership marks the beginning of a long-term journey to make international-quality education more accessible and impactful.”

Amandeep Singh Dhaliwal, CEO of EduGlobal Junior, added: “Having already built a strong presence in K-12 schools, online education, and senior schooling, Edovu Ventures is now poised to redefine early childhood education in India. Through this collaboration with IB, we aim to make the PYP programme more accessible and bring about a meaningful transformation in preschool education nationwide.”

With this announcement, Edovu Ventures and the International Baccalaureate reaffirm their shared vision: empowering every child with a world-class education that prepares them not just for school — but for life.
