The disgraced Australian opener David Warner today decided to step down as captain of the Sunrisers Hyderabad franchise during the Indian Premier League (IPL), which is set to start on April 4.
Sunrisers CEO K. Shanmugam announced the new captain of the team will be announced soon. India opener Shikhar Dhawan is tipped as the front-runner for the job.
