Dense fog blanketed the national capital Delhi and its neighbouring region this morning. There was near-zero visibility and several train coming to Delhi and different parts of North India are running late due to fog. Flight operations were also affected due to fog. According to MeT officials, today there will be partly cloudy sky with haze and smoke.
Maximum and Minimum temperature will hover around 21 and 09 degree celcius. The air quality was is the poor category this morning and the Air Quality Index was recorded 285 at 6 AM today. Due to cold wave which is gripping the region, a large number of people are taking refuge at night shelters in various parts of the city.
