BJP MP from Mahbubnagar DK Aruna has said people in Delhi blessed their party by believing in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s model of development and added that the people had exposed the corruption of former CM Kejriwal.
Reacting to the BJP’s victory in Delhi, she addressed media persons at the BJP office at the district headquarters in Mahbubnagar on Sunday.
She claimed that the Congress party had lost the trust of the people in the country. DK Aruna criticized the Telangana State Congress government for its failure to implement the crop loan waiver scheme and rythu bharosa scheme.
She alleged that six guarantees promised by the State Congress leaders before the elections had been shelved.
She said the Centre would not give funds if the names of Indiramma’s houses are not changed. “If there is no photograph of PM in the Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana scheme, why will the funds be given,” she asked.
She also alleged that the government was not able to implement any schemes and was in a hurry to hold local body elections.
Aruna opined that the promises made would be implemented only if the Congress was defeated in the local body elections.
She claimed that even after a year, governance in the State had not been in full swing. “If the promises made are not kept, Revanth Reddy will suffer the same fate as KCR and Kejriwal.
People should be vigilant in the local body elections,” she said and called for strengthening the BJP.
DK Aruna said the Delhi election results were going to affect Telangana politics. “After 27 years, the empire of corruption has collapsed in Delhi.
The people of Delhi have supported the BJP for the sake of change,” she claimed.
