Speaking on the occasion he said that Covid 19 pandemic had put across numerous challenges to the people and governments of the country and added that one of them was cremation for deceased Covid 19 patient. He said that, During one of the recent incidents, their team experienced the fact that how difficult it was to have the cremation for a covid 19 patient who expired in a private hospital in the absence of his family members, who were under home quarantine. He said that there was nobody to cremate the dead body and added that they also found it difficult to arrange an ambulance to carry the dead patient’s body and a cremation ground which will allow the cremation of the covid 19 patient. He said that Very few cremation grounds were allowing the cremation of the Covid 19 patients in the city. The ambulance was started by Feed the Needy team team members. They said that they decided to start the ambulance service for the deceased Covid 19 or non-covid 19 cases besides taking care of the funeral as well if the family members of the victims were not available . They said that their service would be few and would serve all communities irrespective of caste, creed and religions in the state. They said that they had launched the service as a Pilot Project under Cyberabad Limits and added that they would work from 8 AM to 6 PM every day.
