As per the directions of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao a meeting on arrangements to be made in connection with the commemoration of 75th Anniversary of India’s Independence was held at BRKR Bhavan today.
Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar asked the officials to make all arrangements to make the event a very successful one. All government buildings and junctions should be illuminated on the 11th and 12th .
The Chief Minister would unfurl the national flag during the inaugural programme which would be held at Public Gardens at 11 AM on the 12th of this month.
The Governor would attend the programme at Warangal. Chief Secretary directed the Collector Warangal (Rural) to make all arrangements for the programme in a befitting manner.
Mahender Reddy, Director General of Police, Vikas Raj, Principal Secretary, GAD, Anjani Kumar, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad, Surendra Mohan, Secretary to Governor, Raj Bhavan, Srinivasa Raju, Secretary, Tourism and Culture, Lokesh Kumar, Commissioner, GHMC, Danakishore MD HMWSSB, G.Raghuma Reddy, Chairman & Managing Director, TSCPDCL and other officials attend the meeting.
