Chief Minister of Telangana K Chandrasekhar Rao expressed his deep condolences and recalled the services made by Jaipal Reddy as a Union Minister and as a public representative. Former Union Minister and senior Congress leader Jaipal Reddy passed away around 1.30 am on Monday at Asian Gastroenterology Hospital in Gachibowli. He was admitted to the hospital due to high fever. His remains were brought to his home at Jubilee Hills.
CM K Chandrasekhar Rao has directed the chief secretary SK Joshi to perform the last rites of the veteran Congress leader with state honours. Jaipal Reddy’s last rites will be held today at Necklace road. The funeral procession will begin at 9 am from his house. Around 12 noon, his remains will be brought to Gandhi Bhavan where the public can pay respects. Later, the procession will continue towards the Necklace road.
