Animal Husbandry Minister T Srinivas Yadav today directed the water board and civic body officials to take necessary action to ensure 20000 liters of drinking water supply free of cost to the people in the segment.
The minister asked the officials to complete sewage works and see that the people drawing 20,000 liters of drinking water need not to pay bills. As per Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s directions, the officials should take necessary steps for the purpose, he said
He held a meeting with the water board and other concerned officials at his office at West Marredpally. The minister directed to prepare the details of beneficiaries and do not collect bills for the same.
Srinivas Yadav sought to know of preparedness to supply water to the people from January first. He instructed them to complete sewage reconstruction works if any and get ready for free water supply. KCR has promised to give free water up to 20000 liters to the people of the twin cities under GHMC area, he said. The public drawing 20,000 liters water is not needed to pay bills from January onwards.
Make all necessary arrangements in this regard, he said. Complete the plan with other wings to ensure that 20000 liters of water is supplied to the people the deputy speaker said. Plan and ensure sewage and other wings to provide water to the people in the segment and other areas in the GHMC area, he added.
