Former minister and BRS party MLA Harish Rao has come down heavily on the Hydra officials for throwing small builders on the road and causing their suicides.
He warned that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy should shut down the HYDRA without any hesitation.
Speaking to media persons after visiting the family of builder Venugopal Reddy, he said during the 10 years of BRS rule, the Hyderabad city and Telangana were the cornerstones of the construction sector and added that the real estate sector had been witnessing phenomenal growth for 10 years.
“Lakhs of people survived during our rule. But due to the ill-conceived decisions of the Congress rule, the real estate sector has collapsed.
The CM should shut down the HYDRA at least now. Apartments are not being sold due to the Hydra. The buyers are reluctant to buy out of fear of the HYDRA ,” he added.
Harish Rao also said the builders were not able to repay the debts incurred and added that they were also not able to avail loans from banks.
He alleged that the CM had put HYDRA and frightened the people.
