Former Finance Minister P Chidambaram today moved the Delhi High Court seeking bail in the INX Media money laundering case. Yesterday he was granted bail from Supreme Court in the INX Media corruption case. He is currently in ED’s custody in connection with a separate money laundering case. CBI arrested Chidambaram in connection with the graft case on 21st of August. The agency charge-sheeted him and others, including his son Karti for causing loss to the exchequer by allegedly committing offences under the Prevention of Corruption Act and the Indian Penal Code.
