Four persons were killed on the spot, another four persons injured, when the car in which they were travelling collided with a tractor on the National Highway-5, at Timmapuram under Edlapadu Mandal of Guntur district on Monday midnight.
According to police, deceased Anasuya, Jayasri, Rama Devi and driver Francis along with another four persons who were injured in the accident were returning from Yadavalli near Chilakaluripet after attending Seemantham function of their relatives.
When the Tavera car in which they were travelling reached near Timmapurm, due to snow falling, the car going on high speed, collided with a tractor. The police registered the case and took up the investigation.
