BSP won’t have any alliance with Congress in any state: Mayawati

Bahujan Samaj Party, BSP, on Tuesday formally announced that it will not have any alliance with Congress anywhere in the country for upcoming general elections. In a press release issued after a meeting of party leaders in Lucknow, BSP once again reiterated that the party will not go for any electoral understanding or alliance with Congress in any state.

Aam Aadmi Party has also ruled out any alliance with Congress in Delhi for the polls. Speaking to reporters, AAP convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said his party will go solo in the elections. Mr. Kejriwal said, AAP will fight the elections on the issue of full statehood for Delhi as the national capital has been suffering because of it.
