BJP leaders kept under house arrest

Telangana becomes one of the fully electrified states

State BJP leaders were kept under house arrest by city police to prevent them from attending their proposed protest program demanding the state government to waive  of high electricity charges. The police have kept BJP MP Arvind, MLA Raja Singh and MLC N. Ramachandra Rao under house arrest. Huge police force was also deployed at the state headquarters of the party.

The BJP leaders have expressed their anger over the decision of the police to keep them under the house arrest. They made it clear that their agitation would go on till the electricity charges were waived off. On the other hand, the police have also arrested the BJP leaders like former MP G. Vivek Warangal district party president Rao Padma in Warangal after their sit in program in front of the headquarters of TSNPDCL.

The leaders were taken to a local police station after their arrest by the police.
