The 395th birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji was held at the BJP State office here.
The event was attended by legislators and deputy leaders of the BJP Legislative Party Payal Shankar, former BJP MLC N. Ramchander Rao, party State vice-president Chintala Ramachandra Reddy, BJP Karimnagar Nizamabad Adilabad Medak graduates’ constituency candidate Anji Reddy, BJP Karimnagar Nizamabad Adilabad Medak Teacher’s Legislative Council candidate Malka Komarayya, BJP State general secretary (organisation) Chandrasekhar Tiwari, BJP Andhra Pradesh State general secretary (institutional) Madhukar and other leaders and activists participated in the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, they said the ruler like Shivaji Maharaj was rare in India and added that his rule was the guiding light for holistic development irrespective of religion and caste.

On this occasion, we pay homage to Shivaji Maharaj. Shivaji Maharaj was a warrior who provided exemplary governance in India. He developed a good administrative machinery for the whole of India, not as a king of one caste or religion,” he said.
They said today’s revenue system and civil services policies were based on Shivaji Maharaj’s administrative model. They said he provided comprehensive governance not only against the Mughal Empire, but also respecting all religions and added that the rule of Shivaji Maharaj would set an example for all of them.
