Union Minister of State for Home Bandi Sanjay today criticised that the Congress leaders did not have the eyes to see what the Centre had done for the development of the State.
He claimed that the Central government had allocated Rs 1.08 lakh crore to Telangana in the form of taxes and schemes and made it clear that the allegations of the Congress leaders that injustice was done to the Telangana State in the Central budget was completely false.
Speaking to mediapersons on Thursday, he alleged that unable to implement the six guarantees given, the Congress leaders were spreading misinformation against the Centre to divert the attention of the people from their promises.
He said there had been a 10% increase in the funds to the State compared to last year. He said it was not right to insult PM Modi without respecting the Prime Minister’s status.
