Congress party MLC T. Jeevan Reddy today responded on the news reports of the formation of a political party by ruling YSRCP leader YS Sharmila in Telangana. He said that anybody can form a political party in a democratic country like India. He however said that he did not think that there was any vacuum to float a new political
Party in the state. Making it clear that former CM YS Rajasekhara Reddy had become the CM due to the congress party, he wondered as to how the fans and supporters of YSR would join the new political party to be floated by Sharmila. He also made it clear that the congress party was an alternative to the ruling TRS party. Commenting on the reports of change of guard in the state, he said that the state cabinet ministers were making the deliberate leaks by claiming that there would be a change of guard in the state. He mocked that the CM of the state was deliberately making the leaks to tell the world that he was still the CM of the state.
