BJP national president Amit Shah will launch party’s election campaign from Mahabubnagar district tomorrow. Amit Shah will address a public meeting at MVS College grounds in Mahabubnagar. The BJP chief, later in the evening on Saturday, is likely to meet with state-level leaders, take stock of the political situation in the state, and chalk out a strategy on the assembly polls and also finalise the candidates to be fielded from various assembly constituencies. Telangana BJP is planning to hold 50 public meetings in the next two months in all the districts and important assembly constituencies where the party has considerable strength. State party president K Laxman said Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also attend a couple of public meetings which will be decided in the next two weeks. The party is roping in Shakti Kendras of BJP, comprising about three to four booths, to mobilize people for the Mahbubnagar public meeting.
