Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has conveyed his condolences on the passing of the esteemed spiritual leader of the Ismaili Muslims, Aga Khan, who was also a recipient of the Padma Vibhushan award.
The Chief Minister remarked that the loss of Karim AL Hussaini Aga Khan IV, who served as the spiritual leader for the Ismaili Muslim community, represents an irreparable loss for humanity.
He noted that Aga Khan garnered global recognition as a distinguished social worker and humanitarian, recalling his invaluable contributions to society through the establishment of hospitals, educational, and cultural institutions in various countries via the Aga Khan Foundation.
Revanth Reddy stated that Aga Khan’s efforts in poverty alleviation, heritage conservation, medical services, and education will be remembered for generations to come.
He commended the institutions operated by the Aga Khan Foundation in Hyderabad, highlighting their commendable work. Furthermore, Revanth Reddy praised Aga Khan for his commitment to high ethical values, which have significantly enhanced the dignity of humanity throughout his lifetime.
