Telangana BJP president and Union Minister for Coal & Mines G Kishan Reddy today appealed to the media persons to write in detail what the PM Modi government had done after coming to power at the Centre and added that it would be better for the media to ask questions, explain them and write down the facts.

He said after the BJP came to power, it had spent Rs 10 lakh crore on Telangana State and added that another Rs 10 lakh crore had been given in the form of loans to the State.

“We have given Rs 7,000 crore for urea unit in Ramagundam, coach factory in Kazipet, ₹.1.20 lakh crore for national highways and ₹150 crore for the construction of Ramappa temple.

“We have plans for renovation of 40 railway stations, including the Komuravelli railway station and allocated ₹1000 crore for the development of SammakkaSaralamma temple and ₹1350 crore for the construction of AIIMS hospital at Bibinagar,” he said.

Addressing media persons in the district as part of the MLC election campaigning on Sunday, he said they would go ahead as per the survey over the establishment of Bayyaram steel factory and added that although he wanted the factory in the State, it was not being established after finding out the fact that there was not enough steel to extract in the area.

He mocked that in 2018, BRS party leaders KCR, KTR and Harish Rao made exaggerating claims that they would establish the steel factory on their own, but failed to do so.

He said the BJP would contest in all the three MLC seat elections in Telangana scheduled to be held on February 27 and added that the party was seeing an atmosphere of goodwill in all the three seats while claiming that all teachers, employees, the unemployed and people from all walks of life are totally opposed to the ruling Congress party.

“These elections are going to give full positive results to the BJP,” he predicted.
