Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has instructed the officials to complete land acquisition process for Regional Ring Road ( RRR) as soon as possible.
The Chief Minister held a review meeting with officials on the Regional Ring Road, R&B and National Highway projects at the Secretariat here on Friday.
During the meeting, officials were also ordered to take steps to complete the incomplete land acquisition process related to Nagpur-Vijayawada corridor by the Sankranti festival.
Revanth Reddy also asked the officials to resolve issues under the Forest department immediately and suggested that the Forest department and R&B departments should move forward in coordination and that an officer from each of the two departments be specially appointed for the purpose.
He further ordered that a meeting should be held between the two departments and efforts should be made for the speedy completion of the land acquisition process under the respective departments.
Directing the officials that steps should be taken to ensure that every village in Telangana has a BT road to the mandal headquarters, the Chief Minister suggested that the road should be designed in a way that its width should be in line with future needs.
“The officials should release funds in installments. It is not said that any village will not have a road in the future,” Revanth Reddy said.
