Maharashtra Unit Chief of Bharatiya Janata Party and Senior Minister Chandrakant Patil has said that the people have given a clear mandate for the BJP-led Mahayuti during the recent State Assembly elections and they want BJP-Shivsena Mahayuti Government to be formed soon.
Speaking to the reporters in Mumbai today after meeting Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari, Mr Patil said that the BJP delegation met the Governor to apprise him of the prevailing political situation and discuss the legal angles involved with regard to delay in government formation. The party leadership will decide on the next course of action accordingly, he added.
