ISRO Chief Dr K Sivan has said that data from the orbiter of the Chandrayaan 2 satellite, which developed a snag while attempting a soft landing on the lunar surface last September, is being collected at the ground center. Speaking to reporters in Thuthukudi, Tamilnadu today, Dr Sivan said data are being analysed by the scientists in great detail.
He said, the first set of preparatory works of ISRO’s manned space mission Gaganyan had been completed and that trials connected with the second stage preparations have already begun.
