Amid the ongoing tussle between the BJP and Shiv Sena over power-sharing in Maharashtra, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today unanimously elected as state BJP’s legislature leader. Fadnavis expressed confidence that the alliance partners will soon form government in the state. He called the rumours floating around in the state about the alternate formula being worked out to form the government, as just an entertaining gimmicks.
BJP ally Shivsena will decide its stand tomorrow. On the other hand, the Nationalist Congress party in its meeting held this afternoon in the presence of party chief Sharad Pawar and all senior leaders appointed Ajit Pawar as its legislator leader. Congress party also held a meeting in Mumbai.
