Giving top priority for the implementation of welfare schemes, Andhra Pradesh Minister for Finance B Rajendranath Reddy presented his maiden budget for Financial Year, 2019-20 in the Legislative Assembly today proposing an expenditure of 2,27,974.99 Crore rupees with a revenue expenditure estimated at 1,80,475.94 Crore rupees.
The budget estimates entail an “overall increase” of around 19.32 per cent over the 2018-19 budget estimates. While the revenue expenditure is estimated to increase by around 20.10 per cent, the capital expenditure is estimated to grow by around 12.60 per cent over the 2018-19 financial year.
