At the stock markets, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange plunged 395 points, or 1 percent, to close at 39,513, on the day of presentation of the Union Budget, today. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange slipped 136 points, or 1.1 percent, to 11,811.
