India continue their unbeaten run in the tournament with their 125-run win over two-time champions West Indies. Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni slammed respective half-centuries to take India’s score to 268/7 in 50 overs. Windies were blown away by the pace of Mohammed Shami who ended the match with four wickets. Jasprit Bumrah and Yuzvendra Chahal scalped two wickets each while Hardik Pandya and Kuldeep Yadav ended with one wicket each.
Earlier, Virat Kohli, who today became the fastest batsman to reach 20,000 international runs, top scored with 72. Mahendra Singh Dhoni scored an unbeaten 56. India have fielded an unchanged side while West Indies have made two changes. Tomorrow, South Africa take on Sri Lanka in their next league match at Chester-le-Street.
