Election Commission has cautioned TRS President and Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao for violation of Model Code of Conduct by making objectionable statements during an election rally. In its order, the Commission asked him to be more careful in future and to strictly adhere to the provisions of the MCC while addressing any public meeting and making any public statement. At a rally in Karimnagar on 17th March this year, the TRS chief had made some objectionable remarks.
