BJP assured Nizamabad farmers to set up a Turmeric Board at Nizamabad and also implement procurement price for Turmeric and Sorghum. Speaking at a public meeting held in Armur in Nizamabad district last evening, Central Minister Hardeep Singh Puri and BJP national general secretary Ram Madhav assured the farming community that the Centre will bear the difference amount in case the farmers did not get the procurement rate.
They also said these assurances will be included in the BJP National Manifesto. The two leaders also alleged that the State Government has been diverting central housing funds to Mission Bhagiratha, a scheme to supply piped drinking water to each household.
