A Chinese naval plane crashed in the southern island province of Hainan, killing both the pilots. The Chinese navy in a statement said, the plane crashed during a training exercise. There were no casualties on the ground. The cause behind the incident is being investigated, as no other information, like the make of the plane, has been revealed. Previously, at least 12 crew members died after a PLA Air Force plane – believed to be an electronic reconnaissance aircraft – crashed in Guizhou in January last year.
