India set 399 run target for Australia to win Melbourne Test

On the fourth day of the third test at Melbourne, India declared their second innings 106 for 8 with a lead of 398 runs, against Australia. India resumed their innings with 54 for 5 this morning and lost 3 wickets after adding 51 runs. Earlier, Australia were bowled out for 151 runs in their first innings.

Jasprit Bumrah starred with the ball for India with his career-best 6 for 33. Jadeja took two wickets while Ishant Sharma and Mohammed Shami took one wicket each. India declared their first innings at 443 for 7.

The four-match series is currently levelled at 1-1. India had won the first game at Adelaide by 31 runs. The Aussies bounced back with a 146-run win in the second Test at Perth. The final Test to be played in Sydney.
