A class 11 girl was allegedly raped by four engineering students in Kanpur on Tuesday. The girl is a minor. The victim’s father, a serving police inspector, has lodged a complaint. All four are B Tech students from different colleges. Police said all the four accused are being interrogated.
The girl knew one of the accused who coaxed her into visiting him at a flat in the city’s Kakadeo area on Tuesday where she was raped. The accused will be formally arrested after the preliminary inquiry.
