AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Monday extended full support to the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), saying the party led by K Chandrashekar Rao will win the elections. Interestingly, a day before the announcement of the Telangana Assembly Election results, the BJP today hinted at backing the TRS in case it falls short of numbers.
Meanwhile, Owaisi today took the media personnel by surprise when he arrived at the camp office of caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on a motorcycle rather than his car. Earlier today, Owaisi had tweeted that the AIMIM would stand by KCR.
“Inshallah, he’ll form the government on his own strength, and Majlis will stand by him. This is our first step towards a larger goal of nation building,” Owaisi had tweeted.
