‘KCR failed to implement the promises he made’: PM Modi in Nizamabad

With just over 10 days to go for the Telangana Assembly Elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi began campaigning in the poll-bound state on Tuesday. PM Modi began his speech in Telugu for a while and attracted the people in the election rally. While addressing the public meeting in Nizamabad, Narendra Modi said, “Telangana state was formed as a result of sacrifices of many people.”

He said KCR failed to implement the promises he made in the previous elections. PM Modi said that KCR refused to implement the central government’s welfare scheme ‘Ayushman Bharat’ through which 3 lakh poor people got benefit in the country. Modi criticized saying KCR is feeling insecure with ‘Ayushman Bharat’ scheme.

Modi said BJP alone could provide a government which could save Telangana and take it forward on the path of development. PM Modi will also address an election rally in Mahabubnagar today. Prime Minister would come for the second round of campaign in Telangana on December 3, where he would address a public meeting in Hyderabad.

The BJP state leaders are hopeful that these meetings would strengthen their campaign. BJP National President Amit Shah has addressed four public meetings in different parts of the state on Sunday. He is scheduled to address more meetings on November 28 and December 2.
