Srikakulam MP Ram Mohan Naidu thanked the YS Jagan led opposition party YSRCP for its contribution to help the victims of Titli Cyclone. The YCP announced 1 Crore financial help for the victims of the cyclone Titli which ravaged the States of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha a week ago, that left a trail of destruction to property and loss of lives. The cyclone Titli claimed at least 30 lives.
The sudden disaster left the Srikakulam district people reel with everything coming, including homes and trees and crops. The loss from the natural calamity has been pegged at Rs 2400 crore. The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu Naidu, has reportedly approached the central government seeking an aid of Rs 1200 crore for the rehabilitation.
