As the #MeToo movement gathers steam in the country, more men and women are coming forward with shocking experiences of sexual misconduct. There has also been a litany of allegations against prominent Bollywood celebrities, from T-Series head honcho Bhushan Kumar to filmmaker Sajid Khan. Saif Ali Khan has come out in support of the victims of sexual harassment and assault and revealed that he has also been harassed when he was still trying to find a foothold in Bollywood, although it was not sexual in nature.
“I have also been harassed in my career, not sexually, but I have been harassed 25 years ago and I am still angry about it,” he said. “Most people don’t understand other people. It is very difficult to understand other people’s pain. I don’t want to talk about it because I am not important today. Even when I think about what happened to me I still get angry.
