Farmers began their rally with 1850 tractors from Khammam to Kongara Kalan near Ibrahimpatnam where TRS government is prestigiously conducting ‘Pragati Nivedana’ public meeting on 2nd September. ‘The Raithu Chaitanya Yathra’ led by Khammam M.P Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, was flagged off by Roads and Buildings Minister Tummala Nageswar Rao on Friday.

The party leaders said that this would be the biggest public meeting in the country, which may never take place in future again. According to sources, The meeting venue would be in an area of about 500 acres and remaining 1,500 acres would be used for the parking facility. The stage is 100 feet long 60 feet wide and 10 feet high.
