On Monday an earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale rocked Assam, according to the Regional Seismological Centre.
Officials said that there is no report of any damage or casualty.
Nagaon district which is around 22 kilometres from Dhing is the epicentre of the medium intensity. The epicentre was at latitude 26.2 degrees North and Longitude 92.5 degree East.
