A group of people, who were cleaning a well in Maharashtra’s Yavatmal, are said to have found thousands of Aadhaar cards packed in gunny bags thrown inside.
The cards belonged to residents of Lohara village near Yavatmal.
District Collector Rajesh Deshmukh immediately ordered an investigation to find out if the cards were in the possession of the Indian postal services or the revenue department staffers.
