Archie Schiller, a seven-year-old leg-spinner, has joined the Australian cricket team ahead of the third Test match of the series against Virat Kohli and co. Schiller has already joined the squad and he also trained with the team during the practice session.
The young bowler also bowled during the net session of the Australian cricket team. Archie was present during an event recently where he also met Virat Kohli and Tim Paine. Schiller was informed about his inclusion in the team in the month of October when Australian team was in UAE, facing Pakistan.
The leggie had then told Justin Langer, Australia’s head coach, that he would get Virat Kohli out. Schiller, a young cricket fan, was diagnosed with a rare heart condition when he was just three months old, and since then he has undergone multiple surgeries. “When his dad asked him what he wanted to do, he said ‘I want to captain Australia’.
