137 flights of Air India were delayed on Sunday due to the ripple effect of the shutdown of its software on Saturday. These flights were delayed by an average of 197 minutes. The services of Air India are expected to be normalised by Monday evening.
On Saturday, thousands of passengers had a harrowing time at airports across the world as Air India’s passenger service system software did not function from 3.30 am to 8.45 am due to a technical glitch. As a result, 149 flights were delayed.
