The TRS party has released its second list of the candidates for the GHMC Polls to be held on December 1 and results to be out announced on December 4.
The ruling party is going very fast by announcing the candidates well in advance while the BJP and the Congress are lagging behind.
The TRS has so far announced two lists comprising 125 as KTR has given nod for these candidates since the GHMC polls are a prestige for him. The TRS is to announce its third list for the rest of 25 seats according to information.
This time around the TRS has made some changes to the sitting candidates for the GHMC poll.
The party working president KT Rama Rao with inputs from the president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao released the second list which has some changes compared to sittings.
While the TRS denied six tickets to the sitting candidates and gave five the sittings in the reshuffle to make it convenient for the polls.
The changes are – in Balanagar the party replaced Narender with Ravinder Reddy. Vivekananda Nagar it gave ticket to Roja Ranga Rao replacing Lakshmi Bai, also Prasanna Lakshmi replacing Vijayakumari in Addagutta, Bharagavi replaced Sunitha in Mettuguda, Kandhi Shailaja replaced Dhanunjana Bhai in Boudha Nagar, Maheshwari Srihari replaced Uppala Tharuni in Begumpet.
Similarly the TRS has offered to five sitting candidates and offered seat to Premdas as the sitting Srinivas Reddy changed over to other party.
The GHMC results to be announced on Dec 4 after counting of the votes polled. Nominatoins to be accepted till November 18-20 and scrutiny on November 21 and withdrawals on November 22.
