Telangana High Court admits Congress leaders petition on entry to secretariat

The Telangana High Court on Friday admitted a public interest litigation (PIL) filed by senior congress leaders like former Minister Mohammad Ali Shabbir, MP A.Revanth Reddy and Konda Visweswar Reddy urging it to issue orders  to them to visit the demolition site of state secretariat.

The High Court is likely to take up the hearing of the case during the next couple of days.  It may be noted here that the party MP Revanth Reddy has been alleging that there was huge amount of hidden treasure under the G-Block of the old state secretariat . The party has also been considering the issue of the demolition of the Nalla Pochamma temple and mosque located on the existing secretariat site. In their petition the leaders told the High Court there was a need to inspect the demolition site to find out the ground level.

The leaders have also told the High Court that they have  been receiving several complaints  from  different people and NGOs on the issue. It also said that there were reports of the state government authorities prepared in the past stating that there was hidden treasure under the G-block of the state.  They told the High Court that they would conduct a  fact finding visit on the issue and urged the HC to issue orders to the state government to allow them to Carry out the visit.
