Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today stated that the TSRTC should get to its past glory to serve better. Plan to strengthen it and serve better to ensure that more people take the services and get more income. KCR held a review meeting on TSRTC at Pragathi Bhavan with Transport Minister, Ajay Kumar, RTC, Chairman, Bajireddy Goverdha, MD Sajjannar, and Ministers KT Rama Rao and Jagadish Reddy.
The Chief Minister said to offer necessary support and encouragement towards welfare of the employees of the RTC. He asked the minister, chairman and the MD to coordinate to implement a plan of action to get more revenues. There are some properties of the RTC in the districts which can be used for earning more revenue by offering them business. The CM instructed them to follow corona protocols and ensure people get improved services.
The Government is for strengthening the RTC and for the welfare of its employees, he said. KCR also said that the government will offer funds to the RTC to tide over the financial crisis and get more revenues in future, according to information.
