Finance Minister T Harish Rao today assured that all farm crops and yield will be purchased from the farmers in Telangana state. He instructed agriculture officials, staff and those at purchase centers to buy all crops and pay bills immediately.
Along with MLA Padma Devender Reddy, Harish Rao made a visit to a purchase centre in a village in Medak district.
On the occasion, the Finance Minister stated that every seed produced by the farmers will be purchased. There is no need to worry about the crops including wet crops due to untimely rains caused loss he said. Though we saw ruining of crops with these rains the farmers should not worry he said. This time the farmers grown paddy in more quantities as per Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao instructions. Telangana state is in top at national level in paddy production, Harish Rao said. The schemes of Rythu bandhu, Rythu bhima,.Rythu Vedikas and 24 hours free power to farming give great results. These schemes are ideal to other states and aimed to push farm production significantly he said. KCR vision and plan get credit for this golden harvest the state is witnessing now he claimed. The farmers will get timely bills as we have instructed the officials, Harish Rao said.
Earlier, the minister inspected the register at the purchase center and checked the details of paddy procured, quantities and bills to be paid. Harish Rao interacted with the farmers at the purchase center and assured that last seed of their produce will be procured and amount be paid immediately. We have instructed to agriculture officials and those at field level inspection for speedy purchase, he said
The minister directed them to coordinate with staff and workers to collect total farm produce from the farmers and pay bills.
